  1. NZ Opera Terms and Conditions – Vodafone competition
    1. The promoter is: NZ Opera, 5/69 St Georges Bay Road, Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand.
    2. The competition is open to residents of New Zealand aged over 18 years, except employees of NZ Opera and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
    3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
    4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
    7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
    8. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: By clicking on ‘Enter Here’ as it comes up on screen.
    9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
    10. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
    11. The Prize is as follows: 4 tickets to NZ Opera’s production of Eight Songs for a Mad King, in the winner’s choice of city:  Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch on between 2 and 29 March. Prize valid until 29 March 2020.
    12. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
    13. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter on 10 February 2020.
    14. The winner will be notified by email within 72 hours of the appointment date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 72 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
    15. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
    16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    17. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by New Zealand law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
    19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current New Zealand data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

    21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
    22. You are providing your information to NZ Opera and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at nzopera.com

     

Transactions

All transactions are processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (sales tax) of 15%, with the exception of donations. Our secure server software uses industry-standard SSL encryption technology. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypts, or encodes, your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address so this information would be rendered unreadable should someone try to intercept it.

Discounts & Concessions

Concessions for senior citizens and students are on sale for all performances (subject to availability). To qualify, simply enclose proof of eligibility with your booking form or present your ID when booking at the box office or collecting your tickets. Discounts are available on B-Reserve, A-Reserve, Silver, Gold and Premium Reserve seats. Senior Citizens are classified as anyone over the age of 65.

Only one type of discount (whichever is the greater) can be applied to each booking. For example, if you enjoy a subscription discount you cannot also claim concession discounts on the same tickets.

Returns Policy

Goods supplied are purchased on a firm sale basis. Please choose carefully, and check your order details before making payment. Returns will not be accepted for any change of mind purchase. If you receive an incorrect product, please immediately contact us prior to returning the item and we will arrange, as appropriate, either a goods exchange or a refund. Goods will not be accepted for return or refund without prior authorisation, and/or that are later than 30 days after you receive the goods.

If your order is lost during delivery, we will send you a replacement once the maximum delivery time has expired. We ask that you contact your local mail centre before contacting us in case your order is being held. All replacement items for lost /damaged products will be shipped at our cost.

Credit card refunds will be processed within 5 working days of our receipt of the goods, but may take longer than that to appear on your credit card statement. Please note that cheque refunds require a longer processing time. If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, the above policy will apply.
