Megan trained in contemporary dance and ballet at The New Zealand School of Dance, graduating in 1995. Megan works predominately in dance theatre, as a rehearsal director, choreographer and teacher. She has worked with the leading choreographers and dance companies in New Zealand such as Douglas Wright, Michael Parmenter, The New Zealand Dance Company, Ann Dewey, Shona McCullagh, Lyne Pringle and Atamira Dance Company. Megan is the choreographic executor of the Douglas Wright Estate and restages his iconic choreographic works both in New Zealand and internationally. Megan works as a choreographer and movement consultant for theatre and opera companies. She has worked with NZ Opera, Auckland Theatre Company, Nightsong Productions, Red Leap Theatre Company, Barbarian Productions and The Pop Up Globe. Megan works as a choreographer, choreographic assistant and movement director in film. Megan has recently completed her certification as an Intimacy Director/Coordinator with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC). Megan is a passionate dance educator and has taught movement and dance classes in tertiary institutions, schools and on community programmes. Megan is a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.
