Our New Opera Forum creates space for story-telling creatives in Aotearoa to gather together to consider what essential steps are required before starting new opera projects.
This week-long forum, guided by the expertise of prominent international composer Jonathan Dove and accomplished librettist Alasdair Middleton, offers a unique opportunity for both musical and text-based storytellers. Together, they’ll delve deep into the intricate mechanics of opera, sharing insights, experiences, and ideas that fuel the creative process.
Applications will be made live on the NZ Opera website in December.
