Date: Saturday 25th January, 5pm – 8pm
Venue: Glover Park, 32 Glover Rd, St Heliers
New Zealand Opera takes to the park this summer with a programme inspired by nature, plants and our relationship with the great outdoors. Writers, artists and composers have always been drawn to nature as a metaphor for the human spirit. The natural environment creates a space for us to reflect and this concert provides a wonderful opportunity to connect through music and song.
Young singers from the Opera Factory will be warming up the crowd from 5pm – 6pm, and the New Zealand Opera programme will commence at 6pm. Featuring l.Emma Sloman (soprano), Kate Webber (mezzo-soprano), Lachlan Craig (tenor), James Harrison (baritone & MC) and Lindy Tennent-Brown (piano), this promises to be another memorable evening for music lovers.
