Recent opera productions include Simon Phillips’s Le comte Ory, Thomas de Mallet Burgess’s The Unruly Tourists and Lindy Hume’s Cosi fan tutte all for New Zealand Opera. Tracy is currently working on the premiere of Finnish National Opera’s Morgonstjärnan (The Morning Star) directed by Thomas de Mallet Burgess.
Highlights of her recent design for ballet includes Ty King Wall’s new production of The Nutcracker, Liam Scarlett’s Dangerous Liaisons for Queensland Ballet and Ma Cong’s Tchaikovsky: The Man Behind the Music for Tulsa Ballet. Her productions of Christopher Hampson’s Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet toured the United Kingdom with the latter receiving an Olivier Award Nomination for Best New Dance Production.
Career highlights include two Helpmann Award Nominations for the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of In the Next Room and the Melbourne Theatre Company’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest. Tracy is a Winston Churchill Fellow, has a Bachelor of Spatial Design and her work has been shown at both the Prague Quadrennial and World Stage Design exhibitions.
