A lyric baritone and multi-instrumentalist whose experience spans not only opera and the concert platform, but also multiple platinum-selling albums as part of internationally acclaimed trio Sol3 Mio, Moses Mackay began his opera career as an emerging artist with NZ Opera in 2009 – his performance in Le comte Ory marks the first time in 13 years that Moses has appeared on an NZ Opera stage

Most recently, Moses sang the role of Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore at Taranto Opera, with other key roles including Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor, Mediterranean Opera Festival), Escamillo (Carmen, Festival Opera) and Alfio (Cavalleria Rusticana, Arte Lirica Festival Veneto). A graduate of the University of Auckland, Moses completed his Masters in Voice at the Welsh International Academy of Voice in 2013, and in July 2024 he will assume the role of Voice Fellow to Opernfest Prague.
