Robert Bryan

Born in Derby, Robert Bryan is a science graduate of Hull University and the founder of Theatre Projects Limited, under the leadership of Richard Pilbrow. As a long-time Resident Lighting Designer at Glyndebourne and the Royal Opera House, his illustrious career has seen him light plays, musicals, and operas around the globe, working in many of the world’s leading opera houses and theatres.

He has collaborated with renowned directors such as Michael Blakemore, John Cox, Sir Peter Hall, Terry Johnson, Jonathan Miller, Christopher Morahan, Elijah Moshinsky, Adrian Noble, Trevor Nunn, and Peter Wood. Among the distinguished designers he has worked with are Bob Crowley, Mathias Fischer-Dieskau, John Gunter, David Hockney, Richard Hudson, Stefanos Lazaridis, Timothy O’Brien, and Roni Toren.
