Auckland-based Naledi Mhuka is a vibrant young performer with a love for acting, singing, musical theatre and playing percussion instruments. She has performed in a variety of productions, including The Monster in the Maze and La bohème with NZ Opera in 2025, Alice in Matilda the Musical with The Amici Trust, Encore Theatre Collective & G&T Productions in 2024, Elsa in Frozen Jr. in 2023, High School Musical with National Youth Theatre in 2023, and Macbeth again with NZ Opera in 2022.
Naledi was a Kōkako Award finalist for Best Children’s Performer at the 2025 Aotearoa Children’s Music Awards and has received multiple awards for voice, drama, and improvisation at various competitions in Auckland. She recently completed her Speech NZ Grade 4 Flexi Speaking and Performing exam, achieving Honours Plus.
Outside of performing, Naledi is an energetic and creative student who loves reading, playing hockey, volleyball, and futsal, as well as cooking. Whether she’s on stage, rehearsing with friends, or discovering new ways to express herself, Naledi brings enthusiasm and joy to everything she does.
