Marion is a Tāmaki Makaurau based actor, writer and producer with a dynamic presence both on screen and stage in Aotearoa and the United Kingdom. After graduating from Unitec with a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree, she launched a multifaceted career that spans acting, producing and creative development. Her on-screen highlights include acclaimed short films such as Datsun and Baby?, which earned her recognition for performance and craft.
In theatre, she co-created and performed in the show The Pantry Shelf, taking it to coveted international venues including Edinburgh and London, before bringing it home to Tāmaki Makaurau. Alongside performing, Marion has produced work at the renowned Basement Theatre, collaborated with Massive Theatre Company and developed her own screen and theatre projects.
Committed to nurturing the next generation of creatives, Marion runs regular director-actor workshops through her initiative The Sandbox Sessions with the Ockham Collective, providing a low-pressure space for experimentation and connection.
She is thrilled to return to the stage with the remount of Bluebeard’s Castle for Theatre of Sound and NZ Opera – a new chapter in an already rich and evolving career.
