New Zealand Opera is committed to nurturing artists at every stage of their development within a creative context that celebrates opera as an art form, as an industry and as a means to enrich the cultural life of Aotearoa. The company produces opera in a number of different formats including productions of size and scale (mainscale); festival productions; site-specific productions, chamber productions, digital opera, operas in concert and the commissioning and development of new work.
