Jordan Fonoti-Fuimaono is a twenty-two year old Samoan tenor from Flaxmere. His journey towards singing began as a boy-soprano singing hymns in his EFKS church choir. His journey towards classical music and opera began in 2015 when he joined the opera youth initiative; Project Prima Volta. This laid down a clear path for Jordan to continue his studies. Now a graduate of the University of Waikato, completing a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music with Honours (First Class Honours), he will begin his Masters in Music studies under the tutelage of Kristin Darragh in 2023.

Performance highlights include: Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor (Wellington Opera), Mathan in Athaliah (Handel Consort & Quire), Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi (University of Waikato), Arrlechino in I Pagliacci (Festival Opera), Acis in Acis & Galatea & Sailor in Dido & Aeneas (Project Prima Volta). Recent competition success includes being a finalist in the Lockwood New Zealand Aria & Wellington Aria and North Shore Aria Competitions and was the runner-up in the DMMF Waikato Aria Competition in 2022. Outside of studies, Jordan performs frequently with his three older brothers in their operatic singing quartet; ALOFA. He is a 3x alumnus of the prestigious New Zealand Opera School (2021, 2022 & 2023) and in the most recent run of the school.
