Emma Broad is a Ngāi Tahu dancer and choreographer. She is a graduate of The University of Auckland Dance Studies Programme and has worked with leading Aotearoa dance practitioners; Sarah Knox, Malia Johnston, Lucy Marinkovich among others. She has collaborated on works in the Auckland Fringe Festival and performed at Splore festival with Dance Plant Collective. Most recently, Emma has created a new site specific, outdoor work for 8 dancers, performed on the Auckland waterfront. She is passionate about bringing dance to more communities and making it accessible for all to experience this unique artform.
