COVID-19 POLICY

It is our number one priority to ensure our audience members are safe. Please see our COVID-19 Protection Framework below:

Event Cancellations/Postponement:

In the event that a performance needs to be cancelled or postponed, we will of course offer full refunds or credits and you will be contacted directly in that instance. If a new date is announced, your existing ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Customer Cancellation Due to COVID:

In the event that you (the audience member) become sick due to COVID-19, we will endeavour to provide a ticket credit where possible.

Face Masks:

Masks are now officially optional, but New Zealand Opera still recommends them as an effective risk mitigation measure within the theatre.

Health and Safety Measures:

We ask that you sanitise your hands on site, and where possible, maintain a one metre distance from others. If you are feeling unwell, have symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, are awaiting COVID-19 test results, or if you have visited a location of interest, we ask that you stay home and do not enter our venues.
