Due to the recent news of COVID 19 community spread and Level 3 lockdown commencement in Auckland, we wish to inform you that our office is currently closed as per Government regulations, but staff will be working remotely.

The Semele creative team, cast and crew are continuing to work toward a 10 September opening night, pending more information from the government this Friday. At this stage, all tickets remain valid for the season and we will update ticket holders via email if there are any changes.

Our screenings of The Met Opera’s Live in HD production of Akhnaten at the Monterey Cinema in Takapuna and Lumière Cinemas in Christchurch have been postponed, and will be rescheduled to another time, which will be announced as soon as possible. The screening at Monterey Cinema in Upper Hutt has also been postponed. Ticket holders will be contacted directly with further details.

Our Open Day which was scheduled for the 22 August has been canceled and the Semele Insights Event has also been postponed.

Manukau Symphony Orchestra with Dame Malvina Major New Zealand Opera Studio Artists is cancelled. For more information please visit the MSO website.

All other events will go ahead as planned at this stage. However, please check our website and Facebook page for future updates. Many thanks and please stay at home and stay safe. We can do this!
