ANDREA MUNRO

Studied with Janice Webb (NZ), and Jennifer Caron (UK). One of four singers selected for the inaugural Opera New Zealand Emerging Artist Programme. Recipient of the Circle 100 Scholarship, Tower Opera and Dame Malvina Major Foundation Scholarships. Finalist in the 2000 Mobil Song Quest. Roles include Lesbia: The Comedy of Errors (Bath Theatre Royal and Westonbirt Summer Festival); Dama: Macbeth, Kate Pinkerton: Madama Butterfly (ONZ); Fenena: Nabucco; Amelia: Un Ballo in Maschera; Abigaille: Nabucco (cover); Lady Macbeth: Macbeth (cover); Santuzza: Cavalleria Rusticana (cover); and Musetta: La bohème (cover).
